We compared the transcriptome of MYB134 RNAi and wild-type hybrid poplars in order to identify differentially expressed genes in the RNAi plants. Overall design: Three wildtype and three MYB134 RNAi transgenic poplar saplings were grown in the greenhouse (University of Victoria) for two months in 2017. For sunlight treatment, three wild type and three MYB134 RNAi transgenic poplars were moved outdoors and exposed to natural sunlight for two weeks in August 2017.
