资源简介:
twenty three significant SNPs associated with erythrocyte traits: six for RBC, two for MCH, seven for MCHC, two for MCV, four for HCT and two for HGB Twenty-seven significant SNPs were detected to be associated with five platelet traits: none for PLT, five for PDW, eleven for MPV, five for LPCR, five for PDWR. <b>NOTE:SNP: the SNP name on a high-density chip</b><b>Chr.: cow chromosome number</b><b>Location (bp): the specific physical location of an SNP on bovine chromosomes</b><b>Distance (bp): the physical distance between an SNP and the nearest upstream and downstream gene</b> <b>p-value: FarmCPU-calculated p value of the SNP</b><b>Figure legends</b><b>Figure 1. Manhattan plots of -log10 (p-values) for sixelectrolyte traits</b><b>.</b><b>Figure 3. Manhattan plots of -log10 (p-values) five platelets.</b>In GWAS Manhattan plots, genomic coordinates are displayed along the X-axis, with the negative logarithm of the association p-value for each single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) displayed on the Y-axis; each dot on the Manhattan plot signifies an SNP.<b> </b><b> </b><b>Figure 2. QQ plots of -log10 (p-values) for six electrolyte traits</b><b>Figure 4. QQ plots of -log10 (p-values) for five platletes.</b> In the QQ diagram of GWAS, the expected p-value is the value of each point when the null hypothesis is true. The expected p-value and the observed p-value are arranged from small to large, with the X-axis as the expected p-value and the Y-axis as the observed p-value. If there is no systematic error in the correlation analysis results, most points should be attached to the straight line of y = x, and a small part of the tail with significant correlation points deviates from the straight line upwards. If there are a large number of false positive sites, most points will deviate from the straight line to the top. If there are a large number of false negative loci, most points will deviate from the line downwards.
