The dataset of Extreme Hourly Precipitation Areas (EHPAs) and Convective Cores (CCs) over the Pearl River Delta in South China during the 2016-2017 and 2019-2021 warm seasons (April-September)

This dataset is used to make figures for the paper entitled "Macro- and Microphysical Characteristics of Extreme Hourly Precipitation over the Pearl River Delta on the Monsoon Coast (South China)" submitted to Journal of Geophysical Research: Atmospheres in 2023.
