Dataset on effects of saxitoxin (24-h exposure) of Daphnia magna at the individual, sub-cellular and molecular levels

This dataset contains data on lethal (immobility) and several sub-lethal (oxidative stress biomarkers, neurotoxicity, genotoxicity, heart beat, behavior, feeding rate and total DNA methylation) of Daphnia magna following a short—term (24 h) realistic exposure to the neurotoxin saxitoxin. This dataset was produced as part of a larger study that envisages the deep characterization of the molecular and phenotypic effects of saxitoxin in this model freshwater crustacean zooplankter, towards feeding the building of related adverse outcome pathways that consider DNA methylation as a molecular initiating event.
