Whole genome sequencing of carbapenem-resistant Enterobacteriaceae isolated in Malawi, Africa.. Enterobacteriaceae

This project investigates the incidence and prevalence of carbapenem-resistant Enterobacteriaceae in Malawi. Specifically, we focus on plasmids that code for carbapenemases in order to elucidate mode of resistance transmission and epidemiological links with known endemic regions.
