A total of 24 AMD samples with different mineralogy (copper mines and polymetallic mines) were collected from four mining areas. Nine samples named ZJA11-13, ZJA21-23, ZJA31-33 were collected from AMD collection pond A1, A2, and A3 at the heap leaching area of Zijinshan (ZJS) copper mine in Shanghang, Fujian Province in October 2018. The three acid mine water wells continued to have higher temperature inflow, while the ambient temperature was 26 degree at the time of sampling. Three extremely acidic water samples (with pH about 0.7), MYW1-MYW3, were collected from the Monywa (MYW) copper mine in Myanmar. Six AMD samples, BD1-3 and CD1-3, were collected from two naturally formed acid mine water pits in the Bainiuchang polymetallic mining area (MZ) in Mengzi City, Yunnan Province in September 2017. Six samples, C1W-C9W, were collected from water pits C1, C3, C4, C5, C6, and C9 in the Dabaoshan (DBS) polymetallic mine in Guangdong Province in October 2018.
