Geography- and host-associated genetic diversity in the pest species Liriomyza sativae (Diptera: Agromyzidae) from phylogenomic data

The leaf-mining fly, Liriomyza sativae Blanchard, is an important polyphagous pest of the vegetable crops and ornamental plants throughout the world. Population phylogenomics associated with host plant use and geography were investigated for this pest in this study. These results not only provide additional insights into the possible presence of cryptic species, and also increased the understanding of dynamics of invasive pest populations.
