Seismic Absorption and Scattering Images of Aluto Volcano Yemane et al., 2025 GRL
收藏资源简介:
This dataset supports the analysis presented in the accompanying manuscript (Mapping Geothermal Fluids Using Seismic Absorption and Scattering: A Case Study from Aluto Volcano), which investigates seismic scattering and absorption properties in a geothermal region. Using seismic waveforms recorded at multiple stations, we computed peak delay times and inverse coda quality factors to characterize scattering attenuation and intrinsic absorption, respectively. These parameters provide insight into subsurface heterogeneities and fluid content affecting seismic wave propagation. The measurements were obtained through the MuRAT3.0 software package (version 3), an open-access tool designed for seismic attenuation, scattering, and absorption tomography utilizing body and coda waves at multiple frequencies (De Siena et al., 2014). The files provided include peak delay time and inverse coda quality factor data at 3 Hz and 18 Hz, which underpin the tomographic models discussed in the paper. Files included: peak_delay_3hz.txt: Peak delay time measurements at 3 Hz peak_delay_18hz.txt: Peak delay time measurements at 18 Hz Qc_3Hz.txt: Inverse coda quality factor measurements at 3 Hz Qc_18Hz.txt: Inverse coda quality factor measurements at 18 Hz For more information about MuRAT3.0, please visit: https://lucadesiena.github.io/MuRAT/ Citation: Yemane, T., Kendall, J.
