Relationship between the functional capacity and perception of limitation on activities of daily life of patients with COPD

The aim of this study was to investigate whether there is a correlation between functional capacity and the perception of limitation for activities of daily living (ADL) in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Thirty patients underwent anthropometric assessment, spirometry, the London Chest Activity of Daily Living Scale (LCADL), the six minute walk test (6mWT) and the Glittre-ALD test (TGlittre). The normality of the data was tested using the Shapiro-Wilk test. To verify correlation between variables, the Spearman correlation coefficient was used.
