Zasmidium citri-griseum (syn. Mycosphaerella citri) is the fungal pathogen responsible for greasy spot and rind blotch disease in citrus. We report genomic resources from isolate MCC3, collected from grapefruit, including: (i) a draft genome assembly of 558 scaffolds, (ii) 15,424 predicted protein-coding genes (CDSs), (iii) 15,424 predicted proteins, and (iv) 1,423 predicted secreted proteins. These datasets provide a valuable foundation for exploring Dothideomycete biology and uncovering lineage-specific adaptations in Zasmidium species.
