Populus euphratica is known to exist in saline and arid environments, being part of the natural desert forest ecosystems. It is able to survive in extreme environments, marking itself out as an important plant species to study the mechanisms responsible for survival of woody plants under abiotic stress. We explored the whole transcriptome, derived from variety of developmental stages, tissues types, and stress conditions using Illumina GA data.
