Revenue of the restaurant industry in France 2017-2022, by segment

The restaurant industry's revenue in France increased sharply in 2022 over the previous year, recovering from the impact of COVID-19. Both before and after the onset of the pandemic, restaurants and mobile food services represented the most profitable segment, generating roughly 67 billion euros in 2022. That year, the restaurant industry's total revenue amounted to nearly 87.8 billion euros, the highest figure reported over the period considered.
