Two Types of Visitors in a Tropical Botanical Garden: Environment-Neutral and Environment-Lovers survey

Botanical gardens are spaces dedicated to displaying and protecting the genetics and documented collections of plants. They also serve as places that promote learning, environmental education, scientific research, and recreation. Although previous research has identified sociodemographic traits of visitors, it remains unclear whether these individuals share a consistent profile in terms of their motivations, environmental knowledge, and ecological attitudes. For this study, a survey was conducted with 207 visitors to the garden. It was divided into four sections: motivations, attitudes, knowledge, and sociodemographic characteristics using a Likert scale.
