Zoning plan: central area

The zoning plan indicates the measures that citizens and municipalities must take for the treatment of domestic waste water up to the house level. For this purpose, the zoning plan divides the territory of the municipality into the already controlled area, the area where collective purification will still be provided for and the area where no collective, but individual purification will be provided for. The conditions for the discharge of domestic waste water are set out in Vlarem Title II and vary according to the area in which the discharge of domestic waste water can be accommodated. This layer defines the central area – residential areas within the zoning plans. Central area means that sewage has been present for a long time and that it is connected to a water purification system.
