This dataset is part of the ESCALA (Study of Urban Health and Climate Change in Informal Settlements in Latin America) project that was funded by the Lacuna Fund of the Meridian Institute https://lacunafund.org/.

BRT troncal and zonal routes in Bogota from Transmilenio (https://www.transmilenio.gov.co/). A TransMilenio (The company in charge of the BRT system in Bogota) troncal route is a bus line that travels along exclusive mass transit corridors, connecting the system's stations and terminals. A TransMilenio zonal route is a regular bus service that operates along the main roads of the city of Bogotá, with a set origin, destination, frequency, and designated stops. Data cleaning included: Selection of the variables of interest and renaming them according to the parameters established in the data dictionary and categorization based on the defined domains.
