资源简介:
These consumer functional response datasets were extracted from the literature, either from tables or from figures. While some entail "raw" data, most represent means and associated levels of uncertainty (expressed as standard errors). Two types of functional response experiments are represented:1) experiments entailing 1 consumer species and 1 prey/host species in which both prey/host and consumer abundances are varied;2) experiments entailing 1 consumer species and 2 prey/host species in which both prey/host abundances are varied.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The structure of the data varies somewhat across datasets, but in general..
Preds (or Parasitoids) - number of predator (parasitoid) individuals
Prey (or Hosts) - number of prey (host) individualsEaten (or Parasitized) - number of prey (hosts) eaten (parasitized)Time - the time-period of the experiment (not standardized)
For datasets represented by summary statistics...
Prey.Eaten.Mean - arithmetic mean number of prey eatenPrey.Eaten.SE - standard error of the mean number of prey eatenn - treatment sample size (number of replicates)
For datasets entailing two prey/host species, the numbers available and eaten are indicated by Prey1 and Prey2.
