A commercial whole-tree harvest was carried out on the Hubbard Brook
Experimental Forest's Watershed 5 in 1983-4. This dataset includes a
description of this harvest (in methods), and associated maps and
tables for reference when using data from this experiment. Long-term research continues on Watershed 5, and includes the
collection of data on soils, vegetation, water chemistry, streamflow
and precipitation.
