The Integration Barometer is a nationwide study that examines the population's attitudes toward immigration, integration, and diversity in Norway. The study was conducted by the Institute for Social Research (ISF) in collaboration with the Norwegian Directorate of Integration and Diversity (IMDi). Verian, formerly Kantar, was responsible for the technical implementation. The purpose of the survey is to understand how Norwegians perceive immigration and integration, which factors they believe define "Norwegianness" and who they think is responsible for ensuring successful integration. Furthermore, the study explores how global and national events, such as Russia's invasion of Ukraine, influence these attitudes and how they change over time.
The Integration Barometer is a key source of knowledge that shed light on societal perceptions and attitudes related to diversity and inclusion.
