Cephissus River Flood Hazard Maps – Present and Climate Scenarios

This dataset contains flood hazard map outputs for the Cephissus (Kifisos) River basin in the Region of Attica, Greece, produced within the flood hazard workflow. The files include an overview hazard map for the present scenario (Floodmap_overview_JRC_PresentScenario_Cephissus.png) and projected flood hazard maps under climate change scenarios RCP4.5 and RCP8.5 (Floodmaps_AqueductFloods_Cephissus_RCP4.5.png, Floodmaps_AqueductFloods_Cephissus_RCP8.5.png). The maps represent spatial flood hazard conditions derived from hydrological and hydraulic modeling inputs, illustrating expected flood extent and intensity under current and future climate scenarios. These outputs were generated as part of the regional flood risk assessment workflow for Attica and serve as hazard components for subsequent exposure and risk analyses concerning infrastructure, population, and critical facilities along the Cephissus River corridor.
