VPRS 6104 Register Of Orders In Council

This series consists of a volume used to keep track of Orders in Council sent by the Department of the Treasurer to the Governor for approval.The volume records the following information:- name of the individual to whom the order relates (many of the orders appear to relate to employees of the Department)- particulars (ie a brief description) of the purpose of the order- a correspondence number (almost certainly the file numbers as registered in the Departments inwards correspondence filing system - refer to VPRS 1207)- date the order was sent and returned to the Treasurer- date the order was sent and returned to the Governor, and if relevant- dates the order was sent and returned to audit, sub-Department and publication of Government Gazette notice, and- remarks.This volume was previously registered as part of VPRS 1224.
