"Glockenweihe Aussenstelle Gonga, Miss. Küchler und Kosmala" ("Consecration of the bell at Gonja out-station, missionaries Küchler and Kosmala"). Wooden steeple. Missionaries Küchler and Kosmala with their backs to the camera. Crowd of people wearing European clothes, hats and caps. Brass band.; Martin Kosmala (1906-1991), from Wroclaw, was trained as a tailor before joining the Leipzig Mission as pastor. He served in Mbaga and Gonja from 1937 to 1940. From 1947 to 1957 he served the Hermannsburg Mission in South Africa.
