Startups in the field of artificial seafood worldwide 2020

The funding in the field of artificial seafood involved few startups mostly located in the U.S.. Apart from the more established company Impossible Foods, already operating in the meat alternatives sector, the company Gathered Foods obtained funding for 18.7 million euros in 2017 and an additional Series B funding of 32 million U.S. dollars, reaching a total funding value of 50.7 million U.S. dollars.
