We used single cell RNA sequencing (scRNAseq) to show that ventricular endocardial cells generate trabecular vessels through an angioEMT mechanism. Overall design: We did E12.5, E13.5, E14.5 and E15.5 whole heart scRNAseq and intergated these 4 stage data together. We analyzed endothelial cell clusters and compared different subclusters in a stage-dependent diffence within subclusters, to find the potential mechanism of how ventricular endocardial cells generate trabecular vessels.
