VPRS 18861 Minutes (Monthly), Committee of Management

This series comprises volumes recording minutes of the monthly meetings of the Committee of Management of the Anne Caudle Centre [Bendigo Benevolent Asylum 1857-1886; Bendigo Benevolent Asylum and Lying-in Hospital 1886-1937; Bendigo Benevolent Home 1937-1963; Bendigo Home and Hospital for the Aged 1963-1988] (VA 1275). The minutes were created to record summary details of the activities of the Committee of Management including matters discussed at meetings, decisions made on matters brought before the Committee, correspondence received, tenders approved, appointments, summaries of reports submitted to the Committee, and budget and expenditure information. Records transferred to PROV custody cover 1876 to 1986.
