In 2023, display and other online formats accounted for almost two-thirds of Brazil's digital advertising spending. Social media ads followed with little more than one-fifth or 21.4 percent, while online video's share stood at 7.2 percent. Collectively, online channels' share in Brazil's ad spend reached 38.2 percent in 2023, according to data collected from ad agencies across the South American country.
