LES Cloud Scenes and IPA Retrieval Dataset for Deep Learning-Based Estimation of Cloud Microphysical Properties and Cloud Mask

This dataset contains 902 Large Eddy Simulation (LES) cloud scenes from the LASSO modeling framework together with corresponding Independent Pixel Approximation (IPA) retrieval outputs. For each scene, native LES cloud microphysical properties, cloud masks, and simulated reflectances at 0.66 µm and 2.13 µm are provided on a 100 m grid, alongside IPA-retrieved effective radius and optical thickness fields derived from the same scenes. The dataset accompanies the study A Study of Estimating Atmospheric Cloud Microphysical Properties and Cloud Mask using Deep Learning Techniques and provides the data used for model training, evaluation, and analysis.
