资源简介:
Bottom-tethered short moorings have been deployed at the mouth of Barrow Canyon since September 2000. These moorings measure ocean temperature, salinity, and currents. Heat transport through Barrow Canyon was calculated from the JAMSTEC moorings located at the canyon mouth. Details of the calculation are described in Itoh et al. (2013) and Itoh et al. (2026).

The reference salinity used to calculate freshwater transport and content was 34.8, following Aagaard and Carmack (1989). The salinity-dependent in situ freezing temperature was used as the reference for calculating heat content and heat transport.
