Corporate Joint Committees (Wales)

Regulations creating four Corporate Joint Committees (CJCs) in Wales (“the Establishment Regulations”) were made on 17 March 2021 and the following CJCs were established on 1 April 2021: The North Wales Corporate Joint Committee Regulations 2021 The Mid Wales Corporate Joint Committee Regulations 2021 The South East Wales Corporate Joint Committee Regulations 2021 The South West Wales Corporate Joint Committee Regulations 2021 These four CJCs will exercise functions relating to strategic development planning and regional transport planning. They will also be able to do things to promote the economic well-being of their areas.
