The effects of the antibiotic on larval development were analyzed, and the feasibility of antibiotic degradation by larvae was investigated. To elucidate the microbial community changes and the incidence of ARGs involved in the degradation of antibiotics by larvae, and the effects of antibiotic on the abundance, diversity and composition of the larval gut bacterial communities were examined by real-time quantitative PCR (RT-qPCR) and bacterial 16S rRNA gene high-throughput sequencing. The incidence of ARGs in the gut was characterized by high-throughput quantitative PCR (HT-qPCR; with 296 primer sets targeting 285 ARGs, 10 MGEs and 1 16S rRNA marker gene).
