Evaluating Seismic Ambient Noise Techniques for Detecting Ice-Bearing Rocks on the Moon - Synthetic Data

This repository contains all the synthetic data used for the research paper "Evaluating Seismic Ambient Noise Techniques for Detecting Ice-Bearing Rocks on the Moon". The synthetic data were generated with the spectral element code SALVUS (Afanasiev et al., 2019) using a 2D digital twin model of the shallow subsurface structure of the Moon developed by Keil et al. (2024). Different simulation runs were performed with varying parameters of the ice-bearing rock including the weight percent of ice, size and depth. The generated data are in the folder "Synthetic_data". The README.pdf file contains more information on the synthetic data.
