IRMNG

IRMNG（海洋与非海洋属间临时登记处）是一个临时性数据库，包含超过131万已接受物种和178万物种名称（包括同义词），涵盖海洋和非海洋生物以及化石物种。该数据库旨在为分类学查询提供支持，处理同义词、权威信息、亲子关系等问题，并区分海洋与非海洋、化石与现生物种。IRMNG始于2006年，最初由澳大利亚CSIRO海洋与大气研究支持，现由佛兰德海洋研究所（VLIZ）托管。IRMNG (Interim Register of Marine and Nonmarine Genera) is a provisional database housing over 1.31 million accepted species and 1.78 million species names (including synonyms), covering marine, nonmarine organisms and fossil species. This database is designed to support taxonomic queries, resolve issues including synonyms, authoritative nomenclatural information, taxonomic parent-child relationships, and distinguish between marine and nonmarine taxa, as well as fossil and extant species. Launched in 2006, IRMNG was initially supported by Australia's Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO) Marine & Atmospheric Research, and is currently hosted by the Flanders Marine Institute (VLIZ).
