<b>Supplementary Table 2:</b> RockEval mesaurments for Mochras core compiled from the published literature. The IDA number is a unique identifier for a sampling visit at the British Geological Survey core store and the SSK (Subsample Keyworth) number identifies the sample taken. Where core material was extracted directly from archive core, an exact depth is given; where it derives from aggregate bags the catalogues depth interval is listed and the metric depth computed as the average of the maximum and inimum depth. The carbonate content is calculated as mineral carbon * 12.5.
