The DTK5 contains the essential objects of the earth's surface such as settlements, transport networks, vegetation, waters and terrain, property boundaries, boundaries of political and administrative units with names and other descriptive information. With its combination of topography and property boundaries, it forms the link between the property map and the topographic maps. Digital orthophotos (DOP) are distortion-free and true-to-scale photographic images of the earth's surface. They are derived from oriented digital aerial images and a digital elevation model. TrueDOP uses an image-based digital surface model (bDOM) as its elevation model.
