Hanseniaspora meyeri isolate:APC 12.1 Genome sequencing. Hanseniaspora meyeri isolate:APC 12.1

Hanseniaspora meyeri (isolate APC 12.1) was isolated from apple flowers in Switzerland and exhibited strong antagonistic activity against several plant pathogenic fungi in vitro. As a basis for identifying the mechanisms underlying its strong antagonistic activity, we have sequenced the genome of this yeast by long- and short read sequencing, de novo assembled them into seven contigs/chromosomes and a mitogenome (total genome size 8.8 Mbp).
