Housing Type Affects the Fecal Microbiome of Commercial California Dairy Cattle

Here we describe the fecal microbiome in commercial dairy cattle in California. Sequencing 16S rRNA gene in fecal samples collected daily cattle in California, we characterized the community membership and structure to determine whether there were significant changes in the feceal community due to differences in housingtype.
