Dataset: The influence of seagrass traits and environmental controls on soil organic carbon stocks in Chouy Pros Bay, Cambodia

Database of 25 seagrass-associated sediment cores from Chrouy Pros Bay, Gulf of Thailand, Cambodia, collected in 2024. This dataset accompanies the publication "The influence of seagrass traits and environmental controls on soil organic carbon stocks in Chouy Pros Bay, Cambodia" (doi: 10.1016/j.scitotenv.2025.180000). Sediment core information includes organic carbon, inorganic carbon, nitrogen, and phosphorus contents, dry bulk density, and organic carbon stable isotope ratios. Seagrass aboveground biomass, belowground biomass, and shoot density were assessed via three biomass cores from within 10m of the sediment coring location.
