The Bamboo Leaf Flavonoids (BLF) have good antioxidant, antibacterial, and anti-inflammatory effects and it is often used to relieve heat stress in monogastric anima. However, studies using BLF to heat-stressed dairy cows have not been reported. Therefore, the objective of the study is to investigate the effects of BLF on the bacterial community structure in the rumen. Results: On the rumen microbial aspect, after fed BLF, the OTU number of bacteria in the rumen increased (p=0.06), and it significantly promoted the proliferation of Acinetobacter, Candidatus_Saccharimonas, Proteobacteria, Patescibacteria, and Epsilonbacteraeota while suppressed Weissella and Firmicutes.
