Boundary Stone Database Austria (CATASTRUM)

In the landmark database Austria, particularly striking or historically valuable landmark stones are stored and displayed on the map. In addition, links to similar databases as well as general further information on boundary stones are offered. The landmark database was set up as a supplement to the initiative of the Austrian Society for Surveying and Geoinformation (OVG), which, together with surveyors from other European partner institutions, is trying to establish the "Network of Borders and Landmarks" as a World Heritage Site, and is now being operated privately.
