Datasets for "Dependence of Northern Hemisphere Tropospheric Transport on the Midlatitude Jet under Abrupt CO2 Increase" by Xiyue Zhang, Darryn Waugh, and Clara Orbe, submitted to the Journal of Geophysical Research: Atmospheres. We have included NASA GISS E2.2-G outputs that are not available on the CMIP6 archive. Two model versions are analyzed: NINT (non-interactive) and OMA (one-moment aerosol). Variables include: NH50: concentration of 50-day loss tracer with fixed surface mixing ratio at 30-50N [ppm] NH5: concentration of 5-day loss tracer with fixed surface mixing ratio at 30-50N [ppm] NH50e: concentration of 50-day loss tracer with fixed surface emission at 30-50N [ppm] PSI: atmospheric Eulerian mean streamfunction [kg/s] EKE: eddy kinetic energy [m2/s2] ptrop: tropopause height [hPa] BC: concentration of industrially-sourced black carbon [ppm] SO2: concentration of SO2 [ppm]
