Carta al virrey en la que Junípero Serra expresa gratitud por el establecimiento de dos nuevas misiones y un fuerte en San Francisco. Discute y enumera la asignación de ministros para las nuevas misiones y los planes para su sostenibilidad. Serra menciona la llegada del barco San Carlos, su descarga y expresa la esperanza de que las provisiones del Virrey prevengan escasez de alimentos en el área de San Francisco.
