VARIETAL CATEGORIZATION AGAINST TWO-SPOTTED RED SPIDER MITES (Tetranychus urticae) INFESTING OKRA

This dataset contains the experimental data generated from a field study conducted during the summer seasons of 2024 and 2025 at the Department of Plant Pathology, College of Agriculture, Junagadh Agricultural University, Junagadh, Gujarat, India. The study evaluated the response of ten okra (Abelmoschus esculentus L. Moench) varieties against the two-spotted red spider mite, Tetranychus urticae Koch. Weekly observations of mite population were recorded from a 3.5 cm² leaf area under a Randomized Block Design with three replications. The dataset includes varietal-wise mite population, pooled analysis across years, resistance categorization, and statistical analysis. These data support the findings reported in the associated manuscript and may be used for studies on host plant resistance, varietal screening, integrated pest management, and breeding for mite-resistant okra cultivars.
