Tissue 2-deoxyglucose uptake.

Mice in the ad lib fed state were administered [14C]2-deoxyglucose 1 hour prior to euthanasia. Specifically, this was at 22°C in the CON group, at the onset of 4°C in the 1 hour group, and 3 h into the 4°C treatment in the 4 hour group. Data are mean ±SE, N = 8/group. Levels not connected by same letter are significantly different (P<0.05).
