A Homogenized Heterogeneous Data from Building Operations

JüKa BuilData-2, collected from two experimental laboratories under the Living Lab Energy Campus (LLEC) framework at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and Forschungszentrum Jülich (FZJ), Germany, in 2025. The synchronized 1-minute-resolution measurements capture the interplay between electrical consumption and thermal dynamics, including photovoltaic generation, voltage, current, indoor temperature, weather conditions, and a normalized dynamic pricing signal. The dataset is structured to support multi-objective optimization, enabling development and evaluation of control algorithms, such as reinforcement learning, that simultaneously minimize operational costs and maintain occupant comfort. It serves as a benchmark for advanced control strategies in BEMS.
