Whole genome sequencing of WT and tinyin mutant mapping population

In this study, we identified a SNP mutation in tiny inflorescence (tinyin) mutant by mapping-by-sequencing. The mutant is made by EMS mutagenesis in S. lycopersicum cv. Micro-Tom and the mutant shows tiny inflorescences and short internodes compared to Micro-Tom wild-type. To clone the mutant gene, we crossed the mutant with S. pimpinellifolium and generated mapping populations in F2 generation. WT and tinyin mutant mapping populations were sequenced.
