The role of trade unions in green transitions from a power resources approach in the automotive industry

Data from this research was collected from 10 participants. It includes 10 consent forms, 10 interview transcripts, and 1 thematic analysis sheet, which was the method of data collection. The study explored efforts between trade unions and the automotive industry from a different lens, that is, by focusing on the role of automotive trade unions in the green transition, more particularly what trade unions are doing to become green within the automotive industry. Research design, approach, and method: A qualitative study was conducted, where a non-probability purposive sample was selected. The study consisted of 10 participants, who ranged from various levels within trade unions and the automotive industry. Data collection took place through semi-structured interviews with the consent of participants, and data was analysed according to thematic analysis.
