This volume consists of two parts, the first of which contains monthly reports (1879-1929) on the state of the Reception House made by the Inspector General of Mental Hospitals. It contains brief manuscript notes on the number of patients, condition of patients, condition of wards, grounds, etc. The second part contains monthly reports (1930-35) showing statistics only. These give number remaining in Reception House from previous month, number admitted, with an explanation from whence, total under care, total discharged, and number remaining, with an explanation of the patients discharged.9 Oct 1879-14 Feb 1905, 8 Jan 1926, 28 Feb 1928-Mar 1935 (5/93). 1 vol.
