Anticipated Residues in Food

The "Anticipated Residues in Food (OPPE Pesticide Food Residue)" database contains pesticide residue data on raw and processed food. Data are provided on a voluntary basis by government agencies and food processing companies. OPPE Pesticide Food Residue contains data for 286 pesticides on an estimated 49,857 samples collected between 1985 and 1988. The data are used to estimate pesticides residues in the general food supply for scientific and regulatory purpose by government agencies such as EPA, U.S. Food and Drug Administration and State agencies. The food industry trade groups, and public interest groups also use this information for scientific and other purposes.
