Dataset for: The economic sustainability of biosecurity in pig farming: a systematic review with bibliometric, network and content analyses

This dataset contains bibliographic information on scientific publications related to biosecurity costs, practices, and outcomes in pig farming worlwide, published between 1995 and 2023. The publications included in the dataset provide economic indicators, farm characteristics (size, production type), and biosecurity measures (on-farm practices, disease control protocols). Data were extracted from peer-reviewed articles identified through a Systematic Literature Review. Data are stored in Excel format (.xlsx). The dataset supports research on the economic sustainability of biosecurity in pig farming.
