A dataset of "Mapping the thematic disparities and stakeholder biases in medical AI ethics: A dual-source systematic review and computational topic modeling"

This dataset comprises raw data and code from a meta- research on the topic of medical AI ethics. The study retrieved 94 policy publications and 259 peer-review journal articles by searching three journal databases (Medline, Embase, and Web of Science) and one open policy database, Overton.The dataset includes basic information about the included articles, such as authors, affiliations, author gender, and author career stage, as well as the ethical issues covered in each article. For policy publications, we provide information such as the publishing institution, country, and publication date for each policy document. The analysis code includes residual analysis performed using R and Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformers (BERT) analysis written in Python.This code is available for reproducing our research findings.
