Inefficient manual phenotyping is a serious bottleneck of genomic selection breeding programs in aquaculture. Computer vision (CV) technologies can extract the morphological features from digital images and thus automate the phenotyping process for growth-related traits, however, the impacts on genomic prediction were unknown. This study performed automatic phenotyping for SL of tiger pufferfish.
